A half-day course that helps delegates understand how to develop COSHH assessments from material safety data sheets and other information streams; enabling greater understanding of information provided by manufacturers, the control hierarchy and other jargon used (e.g. WELs, TWA etc.).
The risk assessments and method statements section looks specifically at construction activities looking at the legal requirements and what is required to develop method statements from assessments.
Delegates will be expected to participate and write COSHH assessments, risk assessments and a method statement during the course as part of the assessment.
